    THE ROLE

    The Customer Service Representative reports to the Customer Service Lead and owns the order delivery process for our ridiculously transparent seafood goods shipping to retailers nationwide.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    * Oversee the order to cash process from start to finish for shipments of dry and frozen foods to grocery retailer, club store, Ecommerce and foodservice distribution centers

    * Accurately update all order management systems, and follow through to on time delivery and invoice; Creation of customer packets

    * Provide data to swiftly resolve customer deductions *Proactively address any delays or errors in the order process and coordinate solutions between all stakeholders

    * Communicate with customers, and internal stakeholders to address questions, issues, or concerns on orders and Customer Service opportunities

    * Strong relationships with internal and external counterparts are essential to the success of this role

    * Processes returns, credits, re-bills, etc. for both assigned and unassigned customers as needed

    * Coordinate samples for Sales and Marketing

    * Maintain order integrity and accurate data contributing to KPI on a monthly basis (Case Fill and On-time Delivery)

    * Acquire and maintain excellent product knowledge

     

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

    * Prior experience in customer service with a consumer products company, preferably in frozen or refrigerated categories

    * Familiarity with major retailer order management systems/portals

    * Understanding of retail order processing and warehouse integrations (e.g.- EDI, SPS)

    * Strong command of transportation and warehouse logistics

    * Good knowledge of inventory control principles and document management related to inventory traceability

    * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    * Excel reporting capabilities, with attention to detail and accuracy

    * Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and at eliminating ambiguity

    * Drive for results in achieving monthly and quarterly revenue goals, and passion for learning new things

    * Interested in learning, collaborating and being part of a fast-paced team

    * Must have reliable transportation

    ABOUT THE ROLE
    We're looking for an experienced VP of Marketing to join our high-energy team. As the Marketing leader, you will be responsible for marketing planning, marketing execution, and brand design.   You must be able to lead your team but also contribute on your own as we continue to build our portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will be a confident and collaborative leader that can roll up their sleeves, balancing the strategic and tactical aspects of marketing and taking the lead on developing the resources needed to build the brand vision. This role is challenging – above and beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, we’re a startup, and you’ll have insane amounts of responsibility within a fast-paced organization.

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Strategy: Assess the market opportunity and current business trends, develop and implement a strategic marketing and product innovation plan that is broadly understood and supported by management, investors, and the sales organization

    Marketing Execution: Lead marketing initiatives that support and expand product distribution/availability and increase brand awareness, conversion, household penetration, and repeat purchase. In partnership with cross-functional teams, guide and enable the development of inspired package/product design, campaigns, marketing plans, media plans, and activations that strike the right balance of developing long-term brand equity and delivering short-term business objectives via flawless execution.

    Market Intelligence: Leverage market and customer data, consumer research and insights, and competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities and needs in the market to support and grow existing and new efforts that will drive increased consumption

    Innovation: Drive ongoing product innovation thorough in-depth customer analysis and understanding of the economics of the business, including profitability by product and customer, in order to maximize results and prioritize opportunities

    Channel Marketing: Integrate marketing plans with the Sales team. Develop and implement customized, retailer-specific promotional plans that drive unit growth and support customer growth

    Team Leadership: Inspire and develop a high-performing, forward-thinking Marketing team built around a strong culture of collaboration, marketing mastery, innovation, agility, and results-orientation.

    Budgeting and Measurement: Drive implementation of all marketing program strategies and measures to ensure budget compliance and efficiency/effectiveness to optimize performance and maximize ROI; proactively monitor business and program results, adapt to emerging needs, and leverage external partnerships to drive ROI to new levels.

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

    *Strong belief in the mission of Fishpeople and the ability to articulate our value proposition as a key differentiator vs. commodity offerings

    *Track record of success in marketing roles increasing scope, including 10+ years in CPG marketing with a high level of personal impact.

    *Demonstrated ability to thrive in small to mid-sized entrepreneurial food or CPG companies as well as larger, more structured environments.  Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

    *Entrepreneurial mind-set: creative, resourceful, risk taker, business savvy, adaptable

    Demonstrated experience in:

    - Building brands using low cost, high impact marketing initiatives, with a specialty in building awareness and trial through owned & earned media channels

    - Developing and implementing product loyalty strategies and tactics to increase, customer value, shopping activity and shopper retention

    - Marketing strategy, digital analysis and marketing best practices to provide strategic recommendations on marketing initiatives

    - Setting the long-term brand vision and playing a lead role in executing a successful growth strategy to achieve short- and long-term business targets, including new product/market introductions and complex, cross-functional projects

    *Mastery of the CPG food marketing value chain, with strong marketing and selling experience to grocery, mass, club, specialty, and ecommerce channels

    *Energetic, self-starter with a proven results-orientation and ability to translate ideas into actions with a sense of urgency and doing "more with less" in execution.  A prolific generator of marketing ideas with a willingness to experiment in a measurable way

    *Strong analytical, strategic thinking, creative thinking, team leadership, planning, organizing, problem solving skills.

    *Track record of building and maintaining healthy, constructive, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams

    *Resourcefulness to improvise and adapt to deal with daily challenges via creative problem solving

    THE ROLE

    In this role, you'll be utilizing your technical accounting expertise to provide support to a wide range of accounting activities

     

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    *AP/AR processing, tracking and reporting

    *Research customer deductions and work with sales/operations on resolving packets

    *Resolving issues related to AP/AR transactions e.g. collection issues on aging AR *Balancing general ledger transactions, including reconciling payments and reports.

    *Processing various accounting transactions and maintaining records in our accounting system.

    *Support the operations team with current reports and transaction processing. *Provide general administrative support services, including data entry, filing and administrative support

     

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

    *2+  years of AR accounting experience

    *Degree in Accounting or equivalent training and experience

    *Experience working with accounting systems such as Great Plains, QuickBooks, etc.,

    *Comfortable working in the fast paced, changing environment of a rapidly growing company.

    *Ability to work with multiple deadlines and priorities *Strong Intermediate Excel skills Strong attention to detail

    *Problem solver and self-starter with sharp logic and strong analytical skill

    *Ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team
