Red Beans & Rice


  • 2 servings (according to your package instructions) uncooked Brown Rice
  • Chicken stock
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp chipotle powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 14 1/2 oz can kidney beans


  1. Cook rice according to package instructions, replacing half the water with chicken stock and adding the garlic powder, onion powder, chipotle powder, and salt.
  2. When rice has finished cooking, stir in the kidney beans over low heat. Keep over heat until completely heated through.
