Instapot Cajun Salmon & Dirty Rice

A Mardis Gras meal that's ready in minutes--our Cajun Shrimp & Sweet Pepper Wild Alaskan Salmon kit cooked up quick with a Fat Tuesday-inspired dirty rice recipe.

    1. Rinse the white rice until water runs clear.
    2. Add the rice, water, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder to the bowl of your Instant Pot and stir to combine.
    3. Add a trivet on top of the water and rice mixture. Open the Fishpeople Salmon Kit and remove the salmon. Set salmon pieces on top of the trivet.
    4. Place lid on the Instant Pot and use the manual setting set to 4 minutes. When cooking is complete, let sit for 5 minutes before using the manual setting to release the air.
    5. While the salmon is cooking, toast the Cajun Shrimp & Sweet Peppers bread crumb topping in a nonstick skillet over medium heat, until shrimp are cooked through and bread crumbs are toasted.
    6. Remove the salmon and the trivet. Fluff the rice with a fork. Stir the toasted bread crumbs into the rice.
    7. Flake the salmon into chunks and stir into the rice.
    8. Serve & enjoy!
